BE LAW-ABIDING EXPATRIATES DR. W. NII OKAI HAMMOND, AMBASSADOR OF GHANA TO CHINA PETITIONS GHANAIANS

• A lot is being done to assist the Ghanaian community in China

Mr. Peter Whajah, president of the Ghanaian Community Association in Nanjing and the National Chairman of the Ghanaian Community Association (GCA) today 17th August 2022 paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to China, H. E Dr. Winfred Nii Okai Hammond, and other dignitaries of the Ghana mission in China when he visited the embassy on a personal assignment.


H. E Dr. Winfred Nii Okai Hammond was overwhelmed to have received the Ghanaian community leader and used the opportunity to encourage all members of the community to work hard in their various fields as the embassy is always behind them.

He, therefore, entreated the Ghanaian community to be law-abiding as far as living and working in China is concerned.


In a chat with the ambassador, the National Chairman petitioned H.E to use his outfit to help solve some vital issues that remain drawbacks for Ghanaians living in China

In responding to the National Chairman’s petition, the Ambassador, Dr. Winfred Nii Okai Hammond said a lot is being done to assist the Ghanaian community and called for their support.


Other dignitaries that received the National chairman were Mr. John Kwasi Boakye (Minister/Head chancery, Mr. Sylvester Akyereko (Minister/Head of consular, Mr. Abu Osuman (Minister Counsellor/ Political) and Mr. Francis Yaw Opoku (Minister Counselor/Multilateral and Diaspora)
