CORONAVIRUS: CONFIRM CASES IN SOUTH AFRICA RISE TO 402

• Egypt the first African country to register the Coronavirus has a number of 327 confirmed cases with 14 death.



South African Health minister, Mr. Zweli Mkhizein in a statement in a today, Monday 23rd March 2020 disclosed confirmed cases of COVID-19 has risen to 402.


Mr. Zweli stated in the statement, the Nothern Cape has recorded its first case of COVID-19.


“This means there has been an increase of 128 confirmed cases from Sunday’s announcement,” he said.

His Excellency President, Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to address the nation on measures to be undertaken to mitigate the impact of COVID-19.
