• Of the one thousand, six hundred and twenty two (100,622) blood samples tested of COVID-19, Twenty one thousand and forty seven 21,047 cases was as a result of routine surveillance whilst seventy seven thousand, five hundred and fifty three (77,553) cases from contact tracing the remaining two thousand and twenty two (2,022) cases from mandatory quarantined.
Gccwz can confirm that Ghana's case count of COVID-19 has moved up to 1,550 and 11 dead of the virus.
According to the Ghana Health Service (GHS), a total percentage of 1.54% of 100,622 blood samples tested, came out positive of COVID-19.
The Ghana Health Service also indicated that, only 16% of persons who tested positive of COVID-19 had a travel history, whilst 84% had no travel history.
As it stands, one hundred and fifty five (155) persons have recovered and six (6) persons are said to be critically or moderately ill.

Partial Lockdown lifted
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Sunday, April 19, 2020 during his seventh address to the nation on pandemic, lifted the three-week partial lockdown imposed in some parts of Greater Accra and Greater Kumasi districts.
''We will continue to monitor closely events in some hotspots in the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area like Weija Gbawe, Ga East, and Ayawaso East Municipalities, and Tema Metropolis, and in the Eastern Region, like Asuoygaman and Lower Manya Krobo Districts" the president added.
Further more, Nana Akufo-Addo said, "whenever the situation so warrants, a community in which the virus is identified as becoming prevalent will be locked-down, until there is a clear understanding of the trajectory of the virus that will allow us to contain it".
A total of twelve (12) regions out of sixteen (16) regions has reported cases of the deadly coronavirus.
The virus has claimed over 203,622 lives and 2,920,660 persons infected whilst a total of 829,075 persons have recovered from the virus globally.
Regions that have reported cases of the coronavirus in the country are Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern, Northern, Oti, Volta, Central, Upper West, Upper East, North East, Western Region and Western North.
