The nation's COVID-19 case count has moved up to 18,630 after 496 new cases were recorded, Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye said.
During a press briefing on Thursday, July 2, 2020, Dr. Kuma-Aboagye also disclosed that active cases still remains 4,467.

Of the total active cases which is 4,467, Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye stated, twenty-two (22) persons are in severe conditions while eight (8) patients are in critical and six (6) on ventilators.
The Greater Accra Region has recorded a total of 10,296 cases followed by the Ashanti Region with 3,834 cases.
