• Ashanti Region recorded the highest cases of 70, followed by the Central Region 42 new cases, Savannah Region 34 new cases, Greater Accra 32 new cases, Western Region 17 new cases, Eastern Region 11 new cases, Volta Region 11 new cases, Upper West Region 10 new cases, and Oti Region 2 new cases
According to the Ghana Health Service (GHS), the case count of COVID-19 in the country has reached 12, 193 after 229 new cases were recorded in nine (9) regions.
Recoveries have also increased to  4,326 according to the GHS update
Four new deaths was also confirmed bringing, the death toll to 58.
Active cases have also risen to 7,813 and as it stands, 58% out of the total number of COVID-19 cases are male and 42% are female
