COVID-19: CASE COUNT JUMPS TO 16,431 AFTER 597 NEW CASES: ACTIVE CASES NOW 4,071

A total of 288,465 persons have been tested of the virus from March to June, 27th

Of these 4,071 active cases, Six (6) patients are currently in critical condition with twenty-six (26) in severe condition.



The nation's COVID-19 case count has jumped from 15, 834 to 16,431 after 597 new cases were recorded in nine (9) regions, the Ghana Health Service’s latest update on Saturday, June 27, 2020 states.


The number of recoveries has moved to 12,257. Death toll remains 103

The total number of persons tested has also moved from 286,453 as of June 26, 2020, to 288,465. Meaning 2,012 tested results have been received.


The number of active cases has moved from 3, 976 to 4,071.

Of these 4,071 active cases, Six (6) patients are currently in critical condition with twenty-six (26) in severe condition.
