Ghana's case count of COVID-19 has jumped to 4,700 latest updates from Ghana Health Service (GHS) on May 10th 2020, on the nation’s COVID-19 situation states.
Four hundred and ninety-four (494) recoveries, five (5) persons are critically ill, and four thousand, one hundred and seventy-nine (4,179) persons are said to be responding well to treatment.
As at yesterday, 10th May a total of one hundred and sixty thousand, five hundred and one (160,501) tests has been conducted with five (5) persons being critically ill.
Majority of recent cases recorded within the past 72 hours are from the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central and the Eastern Region.
Four thousand, one hundred and seventy-nine (4,179) persons are responding well to treatment.
Per the info on the GHS website, "59 %of the total (4,263) confirmed case are male whiles 41% are female".
Savannah, Bono East and Ahafo regions currently haven't recorded any cases of COVID-19.
Regions that have reported cases of the coronavirus in the country are Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern, Central,Western North, Western Region, Volta, Upper East Region, Oti Region, Upper West Region, Northern Region, North East Region, Bono Region.
