COVID-19: WITH 156 NEW CASES GHANA'S COVID-19 CASES INCREASES TO 6,964

According to the Ghana Health Service, there are 15 patients with severe cases but are not on ventilators. University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) 4 patients, Ga East 3 patients, Ho 1 patient, Korle Bu 3 patients, Kumasi 3 patients and 37 Military Hospital 1 patient.



Latest update on May, 26th 2020 on the nations case count of the novel coronavirus by the Director General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), indicated, that the case count has increased by 156.


60% of the total confirmed case are male whiles 40% are female.


Recoveries cases has also increased from 2,070 to 2,097 with mortality still at 32.


Five (5) out of the 14 regions recorded all 156 new cases.


These regions are Greater Accra region 72 cases, Western 57 cases, Central 13 cases, Volta region, 10 cases and Ashanti region 4 cases.
