The Ghana Health Service (GHS), on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, during its briefing on the country's COVID-19 count stated, the case count of COVID-19 has increased to 12, 590 after 397 new cases.
Meanwhile, recoveries have also reached 4,410 with death toll increasing to 66 after 8 new deaths were recorded.
Ashanti region recorded six (6) mortalities while the remaining two (2) were recorded in the Greater Accra region.
Active cases have also risen to 8,114 and as it stands, 58% out of the total number of COVID-19 cases are male and 42% are female
Four (4) patients are currently in critical condition with two (2) others on ventilators while thirteen (13) persons are in severe condition.
