GHANAIANS ARE SMART NOW; THEY'LL NOT JUST VOTE FOR ANY PERSON - PRATT ON NPP PRIMARIES

Delegates are obliged to vote for the Parliamentary aspirants they confidently believe will be good leaders should they go to Parliament following the December 7th Parliamentary elections.

Delegates and all Ghanaian electorates are not to sell their conscience to political aspirants nor allow themselves to be induced by money and other items.

Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr.

Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt has cautioned NPP delegates ahead of the party's primaries scheduled tomorrow, June 20, 2020.

According to Kwesi Pratt, the delegates are obliged to vote for the Parliamentary aspirants they confidently believe will be good leaders should they go to Parliament following the December 7th Parliamentary elections.

Making his submissions on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Mr. Pratt urged the delegates and all Ghanaian electorates not to sell their conscience to political aspirants nor allow themselves to be induced by money and other items.

He advised the delegates to be guided by the aspirants' ability to fulfil their promises to them and also go into the house of legislature with quality leadership skills.

He also added they should weigh the manifesto of the aspirants before they cast their votes since some of the promises are either empty or exaggerative promises that cannot be fulfilled.

On the part of the aspirants, he asked them to be responsible and measured in their campaign promises knowing very well the role and duties of a Member of Parliament.

Kwesi Pratt was however optimistic that Ghanaians have learned lessons from past electoral experiences and will not repeat their mistakes in party primaries and the general elections.

"I have confidence that the Ghanaian electorates are smart. We have learned one or two lessons. We've seen those who give promises and don't fulfill. We have seen a lot and so this will guide those who will vote to cast a good vote for us to get good leaders to go to Parliament and work effectively," he stated.
