But for God, I would not be alive," Education Minister, Matthew Opoku Prempeh told Kwami Sefa Kayi.
The Minister, popularly known as Napo who tested positive for COVID-19 shared his experience after being discharged from the hospital in an interview on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Thursday.
According to him, he fell ill and after a series of tests at the hospital, he tested negative to the virus. However, he was still not feeling better even after treating Malaria.
He was subsequently admitted at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) in Accra where he spent 13 days before being discharged.
"I tested positive while on admission . . . ," he indicated.

"I thought I was going to die based on the condition when I was admitted, but after I was stabilized, I knew the worst was over.
"What I went through, it was only by the Grace of God," he recounted and urged those who are not taking COVID-19 serious to have a mindset change.
Over 90% of staff test positive
He has also disclosed that 5 of his family members and the majority of staff at the Education Ministry have all tested positive for the virus.
