President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, on Friday 13th December at the banquet hall, Jubilee House, met the press to account for his stewardship after three years in office.
HIS ENCOUNTER WITH THE PRESS WAS THE THIRD SINCE HE ASSUME OFFICE AS THE FIFTH PRESIDENT OF THE FOURTH REPUBLIC.
The president, invited various media houses and portals across the country to address important and pressing issues of Ghana. In the press meeting, the president addressed areas such as Agriculture, Health, Education among others.
High profile government officials and journalists were present at the meeting including the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Information Minister Mr. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, Ministry of Trade and Industry Mr. Alan John Kyerematen, Education Minister Mr. Matthew Opoku-Prempeh, Foreign Minister Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botwe, Mr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr the managing editor of the Insight newspaper, Countryman Songo of Fire for Fire and others
The press had opportunities to ask the president questions in which he provided answers.
His encounter with the press was the third since he assume office as the fifth President of the Fourth Republic.
