NO QUARANTINE FOR TRAVELERS WITH CHINESE JAB IN THESE COUNTRIES

• With the large-scale COVID vaccination in China and more overseas countries importing the Chinese vaccines, it seems more courtesies are recognizing the effectiveness of Chinese vaccines.

As the Chinese vaccines are not yet approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), barriers to the "Vaccination passport" will still exist. However, some countries have already adopted measures to speed up the resumption of personnel exchanges with China.

The list of European and Asian countries that approve Chinese vaccine for entry permission

1. Greece

The Greek COVID Expert Committee stated that in addition to Pfizer, Modena, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, it has decided to approve that, travelers presenting vaccination certificates of some other COVID vaccines are also allowed to enter Greece.

Among them there are vaccines from SINOVAC, Sinopharm and CanSino Biologics of China.

According to reports, travelers who have been vaccinated with the above-mentioned vaccines do not need to present nucleic acid test certificates when they come to Greece, and they can enter the country directly with the relevant vaccination certificates.

2. South Korea

The South Korean government announced that from July 1st, it would implement conditional quarantine exemption measures for travelers. Those who have accepted the 2 WHO-certified Chinese vaccines (SINOVAC, Sinopharm), can enter the country without quarantine conditionally.

3. Spain

According to the Spanish government, from June 7th, all foreign travelers who have completed the COVID vaccination authorized by the European Union or the World Health Organization can enter Spain without restrictions, but the above rules only apply to travelers who completed the vaccination at least 14 days before entry of Spain.

4. Thailand

From July 1st, Phuket Island in Thailand re-opened to foreign tourists, and the conditionally isolation-free policy was officially launched.

Among the entry conditions, one important factor is that the tourists must hold certificates of COVID vaccination. The vaccines must be certified by the Thai government or WHO, and the time for the second dose should be more than 14 days after the first dose but not more than 1 year.

5. Cyprus

According to the regulations of the Cyprus government in May, travelers who have accepted China's Sinopharm vaccine can enter Cyprus without being tested or quarantined.

And for Singapore, China has been listed as one of the countries that are exempt from isolation already.

Starting from November 6, 2020, visitors from China can enter Singapore with a Singapore visa and air pass. Chinese students who hold IPA (in-principle-approval, entry approval letter) and the special permission by the Ministry of Education, can enter the country immediately without isolation.

Previously, due to the sudden rebound of the epidemic in Guangzhou, Singapore had temporarily implemented isolation control.

Beginning on July 3, Singapore has announced the cancellation of the 7-day quarantine for personnel from Guangdong and those transiting in Guangdong. Singapore will also take similar measures in response to other local outbreaks in China.
