• According to the GHS updates on Sunday, May, 24th, the Savannah Region has recorded it's first COVID-19 case.
The Ghana Health Service (GHS), on it's latest update on the nations case count of the novel coronavirus said, the case count has increased from 6,617 to 6,683 with one (1) additional death and total recoveries 1,998.
61% of the total confirmed case are male whiles 39% are female.
According to the GHS updates on Sunday, May, 24th, the Savannah Region has recorded it's first COVID-19 case.
With this update a total of 14 regions have recorded the deadly novel coronavirus which begun in Wuhan, China some where December last year.
These regions are Greater Accra Region, Ashanti Region, Central Region, Western Region, Eastern, Western North Region, Volta Region, Northern Region, Upper East Region, Oti Region, Upper West Region, North East Region, Bono Region and Savannah Region.
Meanwhile Bono East and Ahafo regions are the only two regions with no cases of COVID-19.
